Hey, I can have one! Barbie had a Dream House. If a plastic doll can have her very own house, who says I can’t make my own Dream Kitchen? It would look somewhat like Martha Stewart’s kitchen; a great mix of contemporary and old-fashioned durability, with practical application. All the while being completely stylish and smartly designed, too. If I were equipping my Dream Kitchen, this is what would be in it.
Some of this stuff I have and some of this is on my wish list. For the most part, I’m only into essentials and am not into gadgets (clutter). This is true kitchen equipment that will help you shine in your very own Dream Kitchen!

Favorite Kitchen Shears I LOVE MY KITCHEN SHEARS! They are useful for EVERYTHING, from cutting chickens to opening a bag. I have mine in the wood block that holds my knives and they're used at LEAST once a day! This is an essential kitchen tool! |

George Foreman Grill
I have a little one, but if I were going to do it again, I’d have this one. To be honest with you, I never thought this product would fly. Then I got one and it really is a fabulous tool! If you are serious about getting the fat out of your food and getting the flavor in, this is the tool for you. Fajitas are fabulous on big George’s grill!

Westbend Just for Dinner Breadmaker
You can have bread in 45 minutes with this thing! I have a WestBend breadmaker that works wonderfully, but it takes hours to get a loaf of bread. When I saw this particular version, I was thrilled. You will be too! |

Henckels Chef Knife
This is the perfect knife. I’ve had mine for over 20 years and I love it just as much as the day I first bought it. Once you’ve learned how to operate one of these babies, you’ll never go back to cheap-o, as seen on TV knives again. Classic knife and must for anyone who cooks—don’t go for the cheaper Henckels. This is the only style you want. |
