All about downloads and how they work
along with some hints and tips
|
- We have many products that are sold in a downloadable format (like an e-book). Unlike our standard Menu-Mailers which are weekly publications and you purchase by length of time, products like Mega Menu-Mailer are a one time purchase and you will be given directions on how to access them in an email following the time of purchase.
- Our downloadable products are in a PDF format so you will need Adobe Reader to view it.
(NOTE: on the payment screen, it will say "this order will be shipped to ..." and then your address. That is NOT applicable in the case of purchasing an e-menu that is downloaded.)
- Please make sure you have added
"menus@ savingdinnersupport.com" (no space in there though!) to your email address book or check your junk mail and spam filters if you don't receive our email in your box within a few minutes of ordering.
- Immediately after your payment is applied to your order, you will be sent an email containing the link to download your product. If you do not receive our message within thirty minutes of ordering, or you accidently delete the email, you can also come to our website and login to MY ACCOUNT where you will see your purchasing history and a copy of the link to your download.
- Many of the files are large so if you are on dial-up it may take a few minutes to dowload.
- ALERT TO MSN USERS:There are some security settings in your MSN browser that may not be compatable with the download and it attempts to turn the pdf into an "htm" file.
We recommend closing down all windows associated with those browsers (including your email program) then opening Internet Explorer on your computer. (This is the one with the little blue 'e'.) Make sure it's not the MSN version of IE (typically has a blue butterfly).
Once you have Internet Explorer open, go to our homepage and click on MY ACCOUNT, login, and you will see your downloads waiting for you. When downloading, it should save them as .pdf files now, rather than .htm or .html pages.
